The University of Santo Tomas is holding The Outstanding Thomasian Alumni (TOTAL) Awards 2024 on Sept. 27, 2024 at the Dr. Robert C. Sy Grand Ballroom, Buenaventura Garcia Paredes, O.P. Building, also known as Thomasian Alumni Center at UST Manila.
The TOTAL Awards is a biennial event where the University confers its highest honors upon Thomasian alumni in recognition of their significant and exemplary contribution to society and the Church. In a comprehensive review process, recipients were named by a selection committee composed of past awardees, UST administrators, and UST Alumni Association, Inc. (USTAAI) officers.
For 2024 TOTAL Awards, these 11 alumni are cited for their prominence and expertise in various fields:

The TOTAL Awards began in 1993 and has recognized over 295 exceptional alumni and 10 Thomasian families. Among these recipients were former President Diosdado Macapagal, businessman Dr. Washington SyCip, National Artists Leandro Locsin (Architecture) and Francisco Sionil Jose, Jollibee founder Tony Tan Caktiong, His Eminence Jose Cardinal Sanchez, chemical engineer Dr. Lydia Tansinsin, Century Pacific Group founder Ricardo Sy Po, Sr., poet Ophelia Alcantara Dimalanta, chemist Trinidad Palad-Trinidad, and journalist Cesar Apolinario.
