Peninsula Manila sets Magical Christmas Tree lighting ceremony

The longest Christmas season celebration in the world begins

The Peninsula Manila’s annual tree lighting celebration is on Friday, October 25, signaling the start of the Christmas season in the Philippines, the country known in the world for having the longest Christmas holiday celebration.

This year’s lighting will have the holiday performances by The Peninsula Strings and Ateneo Chamber Singers. There will also be a sumptuous festive merienda buffet, and seasonal activations for the whole family. The Pen’s iconic Peter Bear will light the majestic 45-ft-tall tree, assisted by Make-A-Wish Philippines’ Wish Kids.

Merienda buffet takes place at The Lobby, October 25, Friday, 3 to 6 pm, at P2,888 for adults and P1,444 for children.
