‘It is a pleasure to welcome Wu to Burberry, he’s been acting from such a young age and continues to evolve with every new role.’ says Daniel Lee, Burberry chief creative officer.
The actor becomes the newest member of Burberry’s global family.

Wu Lei or Leo Wu, as he is known to C-drama fans, is one of China’s accomplished actors now winning over global audiences. Wu’s acting career spans over two decades, starting in his youth when he was spotted by China’s top directors. His Amidst A Snowstorm of Love became one of the top series in Netflix, where he plays a Chinese snooker champion who set roots in Europe.
Wu has become one of China’s most influential young actors noted for a diverse body of work that has won him both critical acclaim and huge loyal fanbase in the world. In drama series such as Nothing But You, Wu proves the methodology he uses to prepare for the role—he plays an accomplished tennis player and it becomes obvious how he has learned the sport to give credence to the role.
Beyond acting, Wu has created and directed a cycling video series, Ride Now, which has sparked a wave of enthusiasm for the sport, further showcasing his creative vision, while embodying Burberry’s heritage of outdoor adventure.
‘It’s an honor to work with Burberry. As a brand built on a rich heritage, Burberry has become a true icon of fashion. Its steadfast dedication to its classic roots combined with a fearless spirit of innovation, results in pieces that never fail to amaze. I look forward to discovering what we’ll create together,” says Wu Lei in an official statement.
