AT a time when storms have dimmed one of Quezon’s most radiant landmarks, the art community is coming together to bring back its light. On November 16, 2025, from 3 to 7 pm, the Bramante Piazza Ballroom at the Renaissance Tower in Pasig City will host Art in Action: Strike a Pose, a fundraising event that unites artists, fashion designers, and models in support of the Luminous Cross of Grace Sanctuary in Agdangan, Quezon.

The 12-story, chalice-shaped sanctuary, topped by a glass dome and lined with murals and life-sized sculptures depicting the Way of the Cross and the Via Maria, has suffered damage from recent storms and typhoons. Its cracked dome and shattered windows now stand as a reminder of both nature’s force and faith’s fragility. The upcoming event seeks to restore this remarkable structure and preserve its legacy as a place of inspiration for pilgrims and visitors alike.

Art in Action: Strike a Pose blends art, fashion, and live music in an immersive experience. Guests can see distinctive art pieces, fashion accessories, and Filipiniana creations modeled throughout the evening. Live performances will provide the soundtrack to a night of creativity and compassion, while professional photographers capture moments projected in real time on an LED wall. Attendees are encouraged to come dressed in black as a symbol of unity and shared purpose.

More than an artistic showcase, the event is a collective act of care. Through art and community spirit, Art in Action: Strike a Pose seeks to help the Luminous Cross of Grace Sanctuary rise again.
