This May, National Artist for Music Ryan Cayabyab presents the music of Burt Bacharach, the composer and singer whose compositions became the most-loved hits across generations, helping define the romantic musical landscape of the modern century. This third chapter of the MaestroClass Concert Series: What’s It All About? Celebrating the Music of Burt Bacharach, is set for May 15 to 17, 2026 at the Proscenium Theater, Rockwell Makati.
Following sold-out runs, the MaestroClass series continues its signature “masterclass-style” format where Cayabyab, beyond conducting and performing, through stories, musical demonstrations, and live arrangements, guides audiences through their favorite songs.
Presented by Rockwell, this third chapter celebrates the legendary songbook of Burt Bacharach, the American hitmaker whose sophisticated pop melodies and distinctive compositions produced global classics and influenced generations of composers worldwide.
For this special three-night engagement, Cayabyab brings together powerhouse Filipino vocalists—Jett Pangan, Bituin Escalante, Gigi De Lana, and Sofronio Vasquez, joined by the dynamic vocal group Baihana. It promises to be an evening of rich harmonies, storytelling, and powerful interpretations, under the stage direction of Rowell Santiago.
