Top Korean actor Sung Hoon is back in Manila, this time to attend Bench Fashion Week 2026 (BFW) and apparently to renew ties to friends and acquaintances he’s made the past two years as BENCH endorser-turned-friend.

Sung Hoon, who’s developed a global fan base for his K-drama and reality show series, graced BFW from April 17-19 at Space at One Ayala, Makati City.

The male lead of such famous series as Love Marriage and Divorce, Woori the Virgin, My Secret Romance now stars in short-form mobile series that’s a growing trend. At the BFW it was apparent how at home he is now in Manila, especially with his BENCH family. He was comfortable posing for selfies and greeting people. It must be remembered in last year’s BFW, at the end of the fashion series, he took over the turntable and was DJ turning up the energy level in a post-show party. This time in the BFW 2026, he was a front-row guest enjoying the fashion show.

April 18 was a gala night partnership with Japan Embassy and Japan Foundation Manila, the Threads of Dreams featuring the collections of Rhett Eala, Jaggy Glarino and Joey Samson. April 19 had the collections of HUMAN X MIMAAAAAAAAW, Kashieca Luxe, BENCH, BENCH Body.
