A global hit that has electrified audiences from Broadway to the West End arrives in Manila, as On Your Feet! The Story of Emilio and Gloria Estefan officially opens ticket sales for its much-anticipated run at the Proscenium Theater at Rockwell Center starting July 10.
Presented by Rockwell and staged by 9 Works Theatrical, the musical brings to life the inspiring true story of Gloria and Emilio Estefan, a journey of love, ambition, and resilience told through the music that helped shape a generation. Built around a catalogue of iconic hits by Gloria Estefan and Miami Sound Machine, including Conga, 1-2-3, Get on Your Feet, and Rhythm Is Gonna Get You, the show blends storytelling, movement, and sound into a high-energy theatrical experience.
Originally premiering in Chicago before its Broadway debut in 2015, On Your Feet! has since toured internationally, captivating audiences with its vibrant staging and emotionally driven narrative. The musical follows the Estefans’ rise from their early days in Miami to becoming global music icons, highlighting not only their success, but the challenges and defining moments that shaped their journey.
Following successful collaborations on The Bodyguard The Musical and A Christmas Carol, Rockwell and 9 Works Theatrical continue their partnership with a production that brings internationally recognized storytelling closer to home. Staged at the Proscenium Theater, the production further strengthens Rockwell’s vision of creating a destination where world-class performances and shared cultural experiences come together.
With a limited run scheduled, On Your Feet! invites audiences to secure their seats early for one of the season’s most anticipated theatrical events. More than a musical, it is a celebration of music that moves, stories that inspire, and moments that bring people together.
