Fauré Le Page brings its singular world to Manila in an intimate pop-up at Rustan’s Atrium at EDSA Shangri-La Plaza.  This is a closer look at the French house whose collection embodies the enduring motto, “Armed for Seduction,” a unique blend of strength, elegance, and wit.

In a luxury landscape often driven by novelty, Fauré Le Page, founded in 1717, remains steadfast in its identity. The storied Parisian maison has never relied on trends to define its appeal. Instead, it has built a devoted following through centuries of craftsmanship, character, and a distinct point of view that feels as relevant today as it did generations ago.

The maison‘s origins dating back to the 18th century are unlike those of most luxury houses. Once an armorer to French nobility, Fauré Le Page transformed that legacy into one of exceptional leather craftsmanship, carrying forward a spirit of protection and refinement through beautifully made bags and accessories.

At the heart of the maison‘s identity is its iconic Ecailles motif, a scale-inspired pattern said to evoke mythical creatures such as dragons and mermaids. More than a decorative element, it has become a symbol of power, confidence, and allure, woven into many of the house’s most recognizable creations.

Exclusive to the maison, the Scale Canvas is meticulously handcrafted using a silk-screening technique before being waxed and grained to achieve its durability and supple finish. The house’s distinctive Armure Leather draws inspiration from historical cuirasses, combining grained calfskin with embroidery that reinterprets the motif in a contemporary way.

In a space that reflects the maison‘s polished yet playful character, the pop-up has some of Fauré Le Page’s most coveted pieces, including the Daily Battle tote, elegant small leather goods, and handbags that embody the house’s confidence and personality.

More than a retail experience, the pop-up offers Manila’s luxury clientele a glimpse into a maison that balances heritage with modernity. In true Fauré Le Page fashion, every detail speaks to a world where craftsmanship, imagination, and individuality remain timelessly alluring.

Fauré Le Page’s pop-up is currently open at Rustan’s Atrium, Level 1, EDSA Shangri-La Plaza, Mandaluyong. Guests may also visit the Fauré Le Page flagship boutique at Greenbelt 4, Ayala Center, Makati City.
