‘Homage to Kazuo’ series on banana paper

The artist with exhibit guests Weng Domingo, Connie Gonzalez
Renowned visual artist Ponce Veridiano holds his second exhibit, Breath of Nature, at W17 at La Fueza Compound in Makati, marking another chapter in his artistic exploration of the natural world.
Following the success of his first solo show at W17 last year, Veridiano draws from his recent journey to Koyasan, Japan, a place of spiritual beauty and natural splendor. This sacred mountain, with its tranquil forest and ancient temples, serves as the inspiration for a series of works that reflects the timeless bond between humanity and the natural world.
Veridiano, a self-taught landscapist, quickly gained recognition for his intuitive eye, remarkable skill, and deep understanding of balancing, and design with nature. This same artistry finds new expression in painting, as he translates his lifelong inspirations into evocative works on canvas. His painting echoes the harmony, emotion, and perspective defining his work as a landscapist while offering a fresh medium to share his creative vision.
