A first: BENCH does official swimsuit for 74th Miss Universe pageant

In landmark move, the Filipino global brand unveils 3 collections inspired by inclusivity, diversity, heritage

In a landmark move for Philippine fashion, leading lifestyle and retail brand BENCH goes on the global stage as the official swimsuit in the highly anticipated 74th Miss Universe pageant in Thailand held Nov. 21, 2025. This monumental partnership places a “Proudly Filipino” brand at the center of the world’s most prestigious pageant, reinforcing BENCH’s status as a global brand that champions Filipino creativity.

Before a global audience, candidates from across the globe don two bespoke collections custom-designed by BENCH, each telling a unique and powerful story.

Embodying the pageant’s spirit of progressive change and unity, the first collection is themed Power of Love, showcased during the crucial preliminary competition on November 19 at the IMPACT Arena, Muang Thong Thani, Bangkok.

Reflecting inclusivity and diversity, these swimsuits had seven vibrant colors of the LGBTQIA+ flag—a powerful statement from BENCH, celebrating love in all its forms and championing the right of every individual to be seen, heard, and celebrated.

This move aligns with BENCH’s long-standing commitment to fostering a community where everyone belongs, taking that message from the Philippines to the global Miss Universe platform.

The second collection is an elegant homage to the host nation, aptly named Sky of Thailand,  unveiled during the  Coronation Night on November 21, also at the IMPACT Arena in Bangkok.

The designs were inspired by the colors of the Thai national flag—red, white, and blue—symbolizing the nation, its faith, and its monarchy.

To elevate this tribute, BENCH has collaborated with renowned Filipino designer Neric Beltran to create distinctivve custom embellishments. Beltran, known for his intricate artistry, has crafted stunning details inspired by the Ratchaphruek (Golden Shower Tree), Thailand’s national flower. This collaboration not only honors Thai culture but also masterfully showcases the world-class talent of Filipino designers.

This Miss Universe sponsorship is a significant milestone for BENCH. From its beginnings as a small t-shirt label, it has evolved into a formidable lifestyle brand that stands for Filipino ingenuity fit for the world market. By partnering with Miss Universe Organization, BENCH not only provides the delegates with exceptional swimwear but also weaves a narrative of Filipino pride, cultural respect, and universal inclusivity.
