Rockwell Center now has the Michelin-recognized culinary experience, with eight restaurants recently earning the much-coveted global distinction, either as Michelin Service Award, Michelin Selected, Michelin Bib Gourmand. This makes the diner’s fine culinary experience always only a short stroll away.
This year’s Michelin Guide Philippines affirms Rockwell’s stature as the benchmark for contemporary Philippine metropolitan lifestyle—a community experience that combines living, dining, shopping, business hub, a celebration of arts and culture.

Following its master plan that sets the standard for mixed-use property development in the country, Rockwell transforms every corner into an enriching discovery, in the Michelin recognition, into a culinary discovery—from the sleek Edades Tower to the familiar Power Plant Mall.

Hapag – 1 Michelin Star (7/F, The Balmori Suites)
Hapag (meaning family table) reinterprets Filipino cuisine using modern techniques while honoring traditional flavors. Local ingredients are crafted into refined, memorable dishes. Erin Recto, the Operations director and sommelier, earned the Michelin Service Award for such expertise.

Aya – Michelin Selected (7/F, The Balmori Suites)
Hapag’s sister restaurant and bar Aya offers contemporary Filipino dishes in a glass-walled lounge with stunning sunset views. Open for lunch and dinner, it offers, among others, kinilaw, beef short rib kare-kare, and house-made calamansi or coconut cocktails.

Taupe – Michelin Selected (The Balmori Suites Chef’s Table — until January 4, 2026)
Chef Francis Tolentino uses his New York training to mine his Filipino roots and to come up with inventive, thoughtful dishes. His signature dishes include Street Basket and Scallops with Champagne. Following the success of its 2024 pop-up at Balmori Suites Chef’s Table, Taupe is running its second pop-up until January and will soon open its expanded flagship at Edades Tower.

The Test Kitchen – Michelin Selected (G/F, One Rockwell)
Originally a small test kitchen in Kamagong, Makati, The Test Kitchen moved to One Rockwell, driven by its characteristic experimental spirit. The minimalist space offers a tasting menu and a la carte dishes, with an upstairs fermentation lab supplying ingredients for Boutwood’s pop-ups. Signature dishes include braised Wagyu beef cheek and rum baba with date purée and Chantilly cream.

Carmelo’s Steakhouse – Michelin Selected (2/F, The Proscenium Retail Row)
This is a classic steakhouse featuring Australian Wagyu and Japanese Saga beef. Steaks are simply grilled and carved tableside, complemented by traditional sauces and elegant service. Carmelo’s is a pioneering brand that now finds a home at The Proscenium, expanding Rockwell’s fine-dining steak options.

12/10 – Michelin Selected (G/F, 8 Rockwell)
Chef Gab Bustos, with enviable creativity, whips up Japanese dishes that are accessible yet with sophisticated flavors. Two years after closing its original in Guijo St., 12/10 opened at 8 Rockwell, bringing back signature favorites alongside inventive new dishes in a modern, memorable setting.

Ramen Ron – Michelin Selected (G/F, Edades Tower)
Originally the wait-in-line favorite Ukokkei Ramen Ron in Arnaiz Ave., Makati, the brand was reimagined in 2020 under Chef Tamura with Chefs Margarita Fores and her son Amado Forés. In 2021, it opened its first dine-in restaurant at Rockwell Center. The clean stone-and-wood interior, bare tables, and visible kitchen create a no-frills, inviting atmosphere, with house-made noodles and signature toppings like pork chashu, perfectly cooked eggs, and miso paste.

Pilya’s Kitchen – Bib Gourmand (The Grid, R2 Level, Power Plant Mall)
Tucked inside The Grid Food Market at Power Plant Mall, Pilya’s Kitchen is known for its delicious ribbon-like noodles and familiar Chinese favorites. Signature pork and shrimp wontons are crisp and flavorful, reflecting the chef’s experience in a New York City Chinese restaurant.
With eight Michelin-recognized establishments across Rockwell Center, the neighborhood has become the metro’s most walkable constellation of celebrated tables. Truly, there is a Michelin-recognized spot in every corner—one neighborhood offering a world of flavors, all within steps of one another.
