THE memes are hilarious and telling: A man sits in a chair computing how much he will earn if he sells his heart ($320,000) and kidneys ($120,000) to help his wife buy tickets for BTS’ return concert.
And the world tour is now a reality—a current event that turns into current race each day for ARMYs and the global fandom that must get tickets. BigHit has announced the tour which kicks off in Goyang, Korea in April 2026—and ends (as of press time) in Manila in 2027. The tour covers continents, from Asia to North America, South America, Europe—from Tokyo, Mexico, Vegas, Madrid, London, Brussels, Toronto, Baltimore, Chicago, Los Angeles, Santiago, Buenos Aires, Melbourne, Singapore, HK, Sydney, among others.
Although Hybe truly took a hit during the band’s military engagement and absence, those days are over. According to musicbusinessworldwide.com, “With the group’s absence, HYBE’s operating profit dropped 37.5 percent YoY to KRW 184.82 billion ($135.55 million) in FY 2024, which the company attributed to, among other factors, ‘BTS‘ temporary break.’
“Most recently in November, HYBE CEO Jason Jaesang Lee said the company expects ‘full-scale improvement’ of its revenue structure starting in 2026. The executive said: ‘This recovery will be anchored by BTS’ return as a group…’”
Hybe recently officially announced the drop of the group’s fifth full-length album on March 20, 2026, which they had worked on diligently in the latter half of 2025. As a friend and fellow ARMY commented, “They really worked on it. As in, it’s like they were going to the office, nag-ta-time in!”
Part of the album was also put together in the US, where the reunited members spent some time for creative work. Needless to say, ARMYs—this one included—cannot wait to hear how their sound has evolved since their experience in the military, and as our boys hit their 30s stride (with only maknae Jungkook trailing behind at age 28, poor baby).
Note, however, that what he lacks in age, JK made up for in performance, with the launch of his album Golden in November 2023, while BTS was still incomplete, and a month before he enlisted. The album was showered with accolades; in the US, the album debuted at number two on the Billboard 200.

Even more exciting is the upcoming announcement on Jan. 14, 2026 of details and venues for BTS’ 2026 world tour, “the first large-scale tour for BTS in about four years since BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE, which ended in a Las Vegas show in April 2022,” said musicbusinessworldwide.com.

The band had first hinted at the album and tour in July 2025, during a livestream shortly after final member Suga’s end of service in June. “I’m literally scared because apps are crashing for the album announcement, and this would also happen when BTS world tour ticketing!” posted FB user (and obvious V bias) Denyel Kim, who posted on FB with the caption “Jan 14 world tour announcement” with a picture of an empty wallet. “Bloodbath na naman sa ticket…”

“FILO ARMY, I-MANIFEST ANG MANILA STOP,” read one PH ARMY’s post. “I have a heartbeat of over 120 bpm after seeing this website,” read another. And of course, the sentiment we all share: “I’m just really scared of the ticket war. I feel so upset and sick to my stomach already.” And of course, like the Catholics Filipinos are, it boils down to this, as one Instagram post read: “Let’s pray for BTS tickets!” Good luck, ARMYs!
