One sunny September afternoon, a stone’s throw from Place Vendôme, the Tuileries Garden, and the Palais Royal, right at the heart of the French capital, amid the bustle of tourists, queues for patisseries, and the buzz of the city, is an address that invites the passer-by to slow down, to observe, to discover.

This sublime 18th-century city mansion house is enjoying a new lease of life. Located at 352 rue Saint-Honoré, the building now houses the Maison Saint-Honoré dedicated to art, know-how, and Parisian elegance. More than just a store, this new address for Fauré Le Page, its 12th worldwide, has been created to be a “Maison for the Maison.” Here, everything is designed as if it were a private home. Unlike a museum, nothing is fixed. From family portraits to spaces designed to reveal different aspects of the Maison’s identity, and some surprises, it houses the entire world of this flagship French brand over three floors.

Founded in the 18th century, at the start of the reign of Louis XV, the first Maison Fauré Le Page became the gunsmith of kings and princes, thanks to the seven successive generations that took charge of it. In 2009, a new Maison came into being and settled in the heart of Paris, an anchor point from which it only strays to open stores in other lands.
