Fendi appoints ZICO as Korea brand ambassador

Composer/rapper makes first public appearance

FENDI is introducing Korean singer ZICO as its brand ambassador in Korea.

The phenomenal singer-songwriter and rapper has a global fandom drawn to the power of his music and lyrics. He made his first public appearance after an extended absence, as a new member of FENDI family.

The partnership underscores FENDI’s vision to support young generations of creative talents, headlined by ZICO as the Maison’s new face in a stream of activities to come. “Seeing how FENDI has created wonderful projects with different creative talents around the world, I am excited to join the family to do great things together!’’ said ZICO.

The house of FENDI was established by Adele and Edoardo Fendi in Rome in 1925. The opening of the first FENDI boutique, a handbag shop and fur workshop followed. Soon winning international acclaim, FENDI emerged as a brand renowned for its elegance, craftsmanship, innovation and style. The collaboration with the late Karl Lagerfeld began in 1965 and lasted 54 years, in 1992 Silvia Venturini Fendi seconded him in artistic direction. In 1994 she was given responsibility of Leather Goods Accessories, then the direction of the Menswear line. In 2000 the LVMH Group acquired FENDI, becoming in 2001 its majority shareholder. In September 2020 Kim Jones was appointed artistic director of Couture and Womenswear, while Delfina Delettrez Fendi, fourth generation of the Fendi family, joined the Maison as artistic director of Jewelry.           
Today FENDI is synonymous with quality, tradition, experimentation and creativity.
