Clarks Philippines opens a new concept store at Shangri-La Plaza Mall, 2/3 Midlevel, East Wing, in addition to its branches and online selling platforms. The 63.92-sqm store stays true to Clarks’ signature design of white walls and wooden floating shelves for a seamless viewing experience of the display. For a limited time, Clarks in Shangri-La will exclusively carry a handpicked selection of the Spring-Summer 2023 collection and Clarks Originals.

From the original sand-colored Clarks Desert Boot first designed by Nathan Clark and launched in 1950, to the outdoorsy Wallabees, Desert Treks, and the sporty-vintage Tor Run Styles, each Clark design has an instantly recognizable signature that makes it unmistakably Clarks.
The Clarks Desert Boot—inspired by a rough boot from Cairo’s Old Bazaar, with its minimal, progressive style, it sparked a worldwide footwear revolution. Every design detail today remains true to that first pioneering pair, still using the stitched down technique or stitching the upper material flat on an outsole. The result? Waterproof casual shoes.
Clarks Desert Trek is another popular offering. Known for its laced-up look and instantly recognizable central seam, the shoe is designed with a unique comfort shape, super-deconstructed suede uppers, and matching FSC-certified rubber crepe soles.

The new design showcases a streamlined, lace-up design that models its curves and contours after the Wallabee. This season’s ultimate kicks, dual-gender Torhill Hi will debut exclusively on TikTok, creating an inclusive digital-first experience. Torhill Hi is available in Dark Sand Suede, White Leather, Red Suede, and Black Suede. Other variants include Torhill Bee, Colehill Easy, and Barleigh Weave.

The outdoorsy, retro vibe is carried by the Clarks Jacquard Collection with its colorful summer-ready colors. Its pieces boast perfect proportions in their streamlined textile jacquard upper and chunky natural crepe sole. A recent addition to the Originals family, this casual silhouette is defined by its modern-retro aesthetic. Exposed stitching, a butter-soft suede collar, and Clarks Originals logo fobs enhance its authentic, crafted feel.
Another partnership makes its way to Clarks lineup, this time with American designer and founder of Kith, Ronnie Fieg, with nearly three decades of footwear industry expertise. The 8th Street collection embraces the energy of New York City’s 1990s shoe scene. Heritage athletic sneaker Lockhill is named after one of Clarks’ very first factories. Crafted from top-grade perforated suede in a new ink colorway, the shoes have a retro aesthetic enhanced by extra perforations on the heel padding.
