The packed year-long celebration of Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines’ 10th year anniversary kicks off this March with K-Pop dance tutorials, contests and big prizes.
K-Pop Dancing Diva Dasuri Choi will be featured in “K-Dance Power Up!”, online dance tutorials featuring the most-requested songs on KCC’s SNS—EXO’s Obsession, Twice’s I Can’t Stop Me, and IU’s new dance single, Celebrity. Randomly selected participants in the tutorials can join the exclusive online dance clinic by Dasuri herself. Others can join the K-Dance Power Up! Quiz to win special KCC prizes.
To allow more people to join the 10th-anniversary celebration, KCC holds its first-ever logo-making contest. Kreation: KCC PH’s 10th Anniversary Logo-making Contest is an online event by the Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines to showcase the Filipino creativity and love of K-Culture and KCC through an artwork.
Its theme for the logo is “10 years of KCC”. The winner will be chosen by four prominent judges from the Bonifacio Art Foundation Inc, UP Korea Research Center, and iAcademy. The winner will receive P40,000 cash and the work will serve as KCC’s official 10th–year anniversary logo to be used in promotional and event materials for the anniversary and the anniversary video to be released in July.
As part of KCC’s Kolorful Adventures this year, which raises awareness of traditional Korean culture, Korean Martial Arts will be the focus this March on KCC’s social media. KCC will share notable history, basic tutorials, unknown facts, and doable techniques for those who have been wanting to learn about Taekwondo, Ssireum, and Taekkyon.
