Rustan’s, the country’s leading luxury retailer, introduces two new global brands with French roots: Daum and Haviland. Set to open in September at Rustan’s Makati, Haviland is widely recognized for its artistic crystal decor, and Daum for its Limoges porcelain. Rustan’s hosted a tour for Haviland and Daum executives, which was led by Benjamin Brami, CEO; Thierry Delrieu, Asia Pacific director; and Pascal Audran, head of sales.
The group was brought to the Home Floor (4th floor) of Rustan’s Makati where the Haviland /Daum boutique will be located. In preparation for the September launch, the group exchanged marketing ideas to suit the profile and behavior of luxury shoppers in the Philippines. The team then explored Rustan’s Shangri-la as a prospect for another Haviland/Daum boutique in the near future. Then at Dusit Thani hotel, they had an intimate dinner with Rustan’s executives.
Haviland and Daum will be part of Rustan’s continuous curation of brands for a discerning market. Both brands bring their enviable histories. Haviland—whose founder moved from New York City to establish his own porcelain manufacturer in Limoges—has supplied many of the world’s largest royal families and heads of state. Haviland’s decorative works have championed the French excellence for more than 175 years. Daum’s story was propelled by its founder’s love for art, the coming together of artistic creation and modern savoir-faire. This love remains evident in each exquisite piece, thoughtfully formed by Daum artisans.
