We are now paranoid about having dry, itchy throats, worse if accompanied by coughing. And given the frightening surge in the number of new COVID cases, with the easily transmissible omicron, we have reason to be. Infections or exposures to positive cases are happening by the households. Self-isolation must be done, and done well.
