Hush Puppies continues the mission to inspire individuals to live on the bright side. It believes that optimism is contagious, and through small acts of positivity, the world can be a little brighter. That is why the brand chose the basset hound to be its symbol, now the visual icon recognized all over the world.
Founded in 1958, during the era when uncomfortable dress shoes were the only footwear choice, Hush Puppies started casual-dressing footwear—to find a solution for sore feet, also known as “barking dogs.” The casual shoes was created to help “hush their puppies,” so to speak.
For almost 70 years, Hush Puppies has been innovating for comfort, especially flats for women. Its latest line, the Bettina Medallion ballerina, is made of sheepskin leather with matte-finish metal medallion. The collection is available in three colors: black, sage, and coral. The Bettina Medallion ballerina flats are slip-resistant with upper leather sheepskin footbed foam cushion and safegrip outsole.
