In celebration of 40 years of transforming lives, Marie France recently hosted its first-ever Wellness Summit, a landmark event that brought together leading medical experts, inspiring personalities, and the entire Marie France team from across the country. Doctors, nutritionists, therapists, and consultants all gathered, united in a shared mission: to align with the brand’s direction of holistic wellness.
The summit was planned to embody Marie France’s enduring motto, “For Every Body,” a promise that wellness and beauty should be tailored to each individual. Guided by the Pillars of Wellness, the day’s program offered a 360-degree approach to health, showing that true transformation starts from within.

The event began with lifestyle and nutrition. Dr. Dex Macalintal emphasized lifestyle medicine as the foundation of true health, covering mental well-being, social connection, nutrition, physical activity, sleep, and healthy habits. Dr. Hadji Palaruan traced Marie France’s evolution from non-invasive slimming to its expanded approach to holistic wellness. Dr. Macgerald Cueto highlighted the crucial role of gut health in immunity, energy, and mood, while Dr. Clarence de Leon encouraged prevention over cure in addressing obesity. To close the segment, a fireside chat with Nicole dela Cruz and China Tuason brought the science to life, showing how small, consistent lifestyle adjustments can create lasting results.

The discussions then shifted to movement and fitness, where Dr. Strix Toledo shed
light on the physical changes the body undergoes after 30, and why consistent activity is key.
Dr. Regie Layug inspired attendees to become “muscle-centric” in his talk “Discover the Power Within,” noting that strength training and mobility are essential to age well and maintain vitality. Meanwhile, Dr. Raymund Junsay’s session, “Bone Voyage,” addressed how weight impacts bones, joints, and mobility, underscoring the importance of muscle health, balanced nutrition, and science-based care to keep the body strong for life. In the fireside chat, the doctors joined Paulyn Quiza, Gary and Bernadette Estrada, and Brent Javier to share personal stories of weaving movement into daily routines, proving that fitness is attainable at every stage of life.
