Robert Downey Jr. has chosen a Gerald Charles timepiece for the second time on a cinematic occasion. At the Marvel Studios Hall H Presentation for Avengers: Doomsday, part of the 2026 Comic-Con International: San Diego, the actor wore the Maestro 2.0 Ultra-Thin in Emerald Green, a renewed confirmation of his ongoing connection to the maison.
Downey Jr.’s return to the Hall H stage—this time as Victor Von Doom—in front of thousands of fans and international press once again turned attention to the details of his look, with the Maestro 2.0 Ultra-Thin underlining, once more, the affinity between the actor’s world and Gerald Charles’ design language.
Fittingly, the piece worn by Downey Jr. was in green, a striking match with the character he now plays on screen. Doctor Doom’s iconic green cloak has remained a defining visual signature of the character across the Marvel comics and now on screen, making the choice of a green Maestro 2.0 Ultra-Thin a fitting, deliberate touch.
Avengers: Doomsday hits theatres on December 18, and the maison looks forward to sharing further moments from this collaboration with Robert Downey Jr. in the months ahead.
