This empowering message of rising up and exploring one’s own power was the heart of Rustan’s GRLPWR, a month-long women empowerment campaign in celebration of Women’s Month. The initiative kicked off on March 7 at the Rustan’s GRLPWR: Resort To Beauty event, where beauty enthusiasts enjoyed a refreshing afternoon filled with fun and exciting activities paired with a summer resort vibe, great company, and of course, an abundance of luxury beauty brands and products.
Rustan’s The Beauty Source houses global luxury beauty brands such as Chanel, La Prairie, Sisley, Clarins, MAC, Estée Lauder, L’Occitane, Diptyque, Acca Kappa, Phyto, Deborah Lippmann, Jo Malone London, Mario Badescu, Maison Francis Kurkdjian, Chloe, Issey Miyake, Maison Margiela, Stila, Jane Iredale, Clinique, and many more. New brands have been added to this prestigious roster such as Malin+Goetz, L:a Bruket, Grown Alchemist, to name a few.
In its fifth year, the Rustan’s GRLPWR event spotlighted beauty and the arts. In a move to recognize women in art, Rustan’s The Beauty Source collaborated with three Filipina artists, each bringing a unique touch to the event. Clara Benin, the country’s indie darling known for her enchanting melodies, serenaded the guests with her performance. Zarah Juan, an esteemed accessory designer and advocate for sustainability, unveiled the exquisite Mobula Bag, inspired by the manta ray, crafted exclusively for Rustan’s The Beauty Source. And finally, Elle Battung, a versatile freelance illustrator and maker, graced the occasion with a colorful mural.
