Italian brand Rodo launched its SS25 Pop-Up at Rustan’s Makati with an afternoon celebrating artisanal luxury. Live harp performances serenaded guests as they had their RODO pieces personalized with Swarovski embellishments. The collection highlighted the brand’s signature wicker craftsmanship, reimagined in fresh hues and modern silhouettes for the season.

For SS 2025, Rodo is re-presenting its iconic wicker bags by updating their shapes and combining them with natural leather.

Alongside the iconic Paris bag, in both large and small, are shoulder bags in various sizes and a brand new “shopping bag” for travel enthusiasts.

Sand-colored linen and the colors sky-blue and strawberry are combined with natural wicker.

For wicker, natural dyes combined with blue, coral, mimosa, and khaki were favored. Flowers, leaves, and the roots of medicinal plants are the sources for the plant-based colors Rodo has experimented with for the SS25 collection.

Slingbacks and sandals are embellished with full strass “cages” or soft mesh worked with pearls and strass. Shoes and sandals are characterized by details of various shapes: toe pieces and plates, all crafted in wicker. It’s also done for heels, both block and cone.

In addition, bows and braids are made from a mesh of crystals in various nuances of blue and pink, gold and silver. Studs and eyelets create geometric designs for shoulder bags and flats.

The Rodo collection, for both bags and shoes, conveys the craftsmanship and quality that have always been the hallmarks of the brand.
