The Philippines’ leading luxury integrated resort Solaire has rolled out its vaccination program for its staff. Those in day-to-day operations have received full doses.

Solaire has set the benchmark for industries after local and international councils awarded it with notable distinctions for its hygiene and sanitation measures  which have been made more stringent to meet the new global criteria on safety. Its Solaire Is Safe For You campaign presents the meticulous protocols that its team undergoes to ensure that the property, its guests, and its team members remain safe and protected from the continuing threat of the COVID-19 virus.

Integral in its operations are its team members who, since 2020, have continuously undergone routine polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests, more commonly known as swab tests, which was initiated by the company to protect the staff members, their families, and hotel guests.

This is part of the luxury integrated resort’s masterplan towards recovery. More importantly, it is an act of social responsibility at a time when the public sector needs the assistance of the private sector the most.

Solaire, with the corporate foundation of its sister company International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI) also owned by ports and gaming tycoon Enrique K. Razon, Jr., initiated the next phase of its recovery plan by procuring Moderna vaccines for its team members as well as five of their dependents at no cost to the team members.

The Solaire-ICTSI Foundation Inc. Vaccination Center (SIVC) began its roll-out of the Moderna vaccine for its team members on June 28, 2021. Selected areas of The Theatre at Solaire were used for both drive-through and on-site appointments. The SIVC uses the latest in mobile technology developed by Zuellig Pharma, utilizing QR codes containing the staff’s information for quick and efficient implementation of its vaccination program.  All rostered Solaire team members have been fully vaccinated, and their dependents being scheduled for initial dose.
