Author and stylemaker Tonette Martel reveals her closet once again for her highly anticipated annual trunk show under her own brand, The Gracious Lady. It will run October 10 to 12 at Vetted 126, the creative space founded by acclaimed interior designer Jonathan Matti.
A tradition that has grown into a much-awaited event in Manila’s style calendar, Martel’s trunk show is more than a simple clearing of her wardrobe—it is a thoughtful practice of editing, curating, and making space for the new. Known for her discerning taste, Martel invites friends, collectors, and design enthusiasts to browse through a carefully assembled selection of bags, jewelry, accessories, and objets d’art from her favorite brands.

Guests can choose from a thoughtfully curated selection that includes tops and dresses by Tom Ford for Gucci; tailored spring and fall jackets by Giorgio Armani; silk and wool scarves by Hermès; colorful silk-and-cashmere shirts by TSE; lively print and patterned shawls by Chanel, Fendi, Etro, and Loro Piana; a smoking jacket by YSL; a hostess gown by Valentino; evening jackets and blouses by Zoran; summer tops from Issey Miyake; and spring coats from Hermès and Dries Van Noten.
Available too are covetable bags from Fendi, Prada, Chanel, Donna Karan, Anya Hindmarch, Tanner Krolle, Jil Sander, Lanvin, Céline, Marni and Miu Miu. For jewelry fans, there are one-of-a-kind pieces from Bergdorf Goodman New York, Lotus Arts de Vivre of Thailand, treasures from the Marché aux Puces in Paris, Manfredi Milano, and John Hardy’s showroom in Bali.

The setting for this year’s trunk show is fitting, Vetted being not just a gallery for exceptional design but also a platform for unique ideas, storytelling, and creative exchange. Within its walls, Martel’s personal objects are elevated beyond fashion, becoming artifacts of a life well-lived and a philosophy of mindful collecting.
Drop by Vetted, Unit 126, GF Mile Long Bldg., Amorsolo St. corner V. Rufino, Makati, from 11 am to 7 pm, from October 10 to 12, 2025.
