This September, Filipino music lovers will experience global superstar John Legend as they never have.
Trading massive arenas for the distinct intimacy of Rockwell’s city cultural landmark, Legend will bring his critically acclaimed tour, An Evening of Songs & Stories, to the Proscenium Theater, on a strictly limited two-night engagement on Sept. 3, 4, 2026. This is his only stop in Southeast Asia.
A rare achievement in modern entertainment, Legend is one of only 22 people in history to reach EGOT status, having won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Award. Now, he does away with the full band and elaborate stage production for a deeply personal masterclass in musicianship.
With only Legend and his grand piano, An Evening of Songs & Stories draws the audience into the artist’s inner world as he plays raw, acoustic renditions of his greatest hits, including All of Me, Ordinary People, and Tonight.
Woven in the music are the unexpected, fascinating, and often humorous stories behind the songs, and personal anecdotes tracing his 20-year career, from his roots in Ohio to the peak of Hollywood.
