Calvin Klein and JK host immersive event in Tokyo

Calvin Klein and JK (Jungkook) hosted an event celebrating their longstanding partnership at the brand’s Harajuku flagship store. In moments that went viral and drew crowds, the BTS maknae JK greeted guests; he was in the custom version of the Jung Kook for Calvin Klein leather racing jacket over a blue ’90s Denim Trucker Jacket and matching ’90s Straight Jeans.

K-pop artist and friend of the brand Mingyu of Seventeen attended the event in a black ’90s Denim Trucker Jacket and grey Baggy Jeans. The event featured sets from DJs Gothicc and Conducta. 

To the K-pop fandom and ARMY fandom, JK and Mingyu are known to be friends.

Notable guests included Ayaka Miyoshi, Natt Chokejindachai, Claude Morgan, Akihisa Shiono, Kita Komagine, Nao Takahashi, Shoma Nagumo, Seira Anzai, and Hina Yoshihara in the Calvin Klein denim essentials.

The Calvin Klein Harajuku flagship store in Tokyo was transformed into an immersive environment reflecting the world of Calvin Klein through Jung Kook’s lens, including design elements inspired by the Jung Kook for Calvin Klein collaboration, such as track mark floor decals, motorcycles and an oversized helmet signed by the artist himself. 

Following the event, the store’s third floor takeover will remain open to the public through June 11, 2026, and will feature some of Jung Kook’s most iconic Calvin Klein looks alongside a curated assortment of styles that inspired his recent collaboration, allowing consumers to shop an edit of the brand’s most iconic styles. 

The Calvin Klein Harajuku flagship store is located at 4-31-10 Jingumae, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo and is open from 10 am to 10:30 pm daily. 

Meanwhile, Calvin Klein celebrates Father’s Day with authenticity, intimacy, and the idea that fathers are the timeless icons. Starring Juan David Borrero alongside model and wife Jasmine Tookes and their daughter, the story unfolds by capturing the family in authentic, everyday moments.  Shot in partnership with his family, the creative highlights a modern expression of fatherhood and brings a real-life perspective to Father’s Day defined by all-day ease and versatility. 

The Father’s Day offering features menswear staples with refined styling, minimal design and elevated fabrics—from classic knit polos and relaxed shirting to essentials designed for everyday functionality.
