Sheila Romero’s coup: Nara Thai Cuisine receives Thai Select Seal

Sheila Romero, president and CEO of Roku Group, pulled all stops to bring the sensational flavors of Thailand to the Philippines. With her at the helm, Nara Thai has expanded from Megamall to Molito in Alabang, and will open its third restaurant soon on Arnaiz Avenue.

Popular among the growing dining clientele are Kang Kiew Wan Nuea (Green Beef Curry), Phad Thai Krob, and Khao Phad Sapparod (Pineapple Fried Rice).

Now Nara Thai Restaurant Molito has earned the highly acclaimed Thai Select Seal, a prestigious recognition bestowed by the Ministry of Commerce of the Royal Thai Government.  This recognition guarantees the authenticity of Thai taste in food products and restaurants, both in Thailand and abroad.

To celebrate the milestone, the Nara Thai Restaurant Molito hosted a select gathering of diplomats and other VIP guests.

Thai Ambassador Tull Traisorat presented the seal to Romero and Yuki Srikarnchana.

Yuki Srikarnchana, founder of Nara Thai Cuisine Group, shared with the guests her delight in the establishment’s remarkable feat.  Srikarnchana was instrumental in shaping the culinary scene in Bangkok and laying the foundation for the global achievement of Nara Thai.

Accepting the honor, Romero said, “This accolade is not merely a badge of honor; it is a testament to our unwavering dedication to excellence and authenticity in Thai cuisine.  It is a privilege to have the opportunity to provide employment and foster growth for our staff, many of whom have been with us since the inception of our Megamall branch in 2017. Their dedication and hard work have been instrumental in shaping the identity and success of Nara Thai Molito.

“As we bask in the glory of this achievement, I am excited to announce our plans for expansion. We eagerly anticipate the opening of our third branch on Arnaiz Ave., in front of SMEG by Park Terraces Tower.”

The Thai Select Award is a program of Thailand’s Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce.  It represents the pinnacle of culinary excellence, recognizing restaurants that uphold the highest standards of authenticity, quality, and innovation.  With the global popularity of Thai cuisine, the Thai Select Seal serves as a beacon of assurance, guiding discerning diners to establishments of unparalleled Thai quality and authenticity.  Nara Thai Megamall received its second Thai Select Seal almost two years ago. This is the first time for Nara Thai Molito to receive its first seal.
