Nic’s has added a few new surprises on its menu for the holiday season. Among the appetizers are Lime and Pepper Skewers—sticks of grilled tender pork with savory-sweet marinade that balances saltiness and roasty sweetness—and Spring Rolls, fried spring rolls with heart of palm mixed with shrimp paired with NIC’S Balsamic Vinaigrette to dip.
Another starter is the Barbecue Chicken Salad, now with a shrimp alternative. Both come with Nic’s Ranch Dressing.
A tomato-based version of their hit pasta, Seafood Medley, is called Seafood Marinara, a mix of shrimps, mussels, and clams in thick tomato sauce. Newly introduced is the Tinapa Pasta using the bottled Nic’s Smoked Milkfish with Mushroom and Capers, the smoky flavor combined with the creamy-salty flavor of red egg. There’s also the Tomato Basil variant for a spicy kick.
Highlighting their best-selling classics are Roast Angus Salpicao on sticks, Salmon Salpicao and Rosemary Chicken with Garlic Confit in trays good for 8 people. These three dishes are also available in frozen, read-to-heat tubs for those who want to prepare instant gourmet meals from home!
A yearly tradition for Nic’s patrons are Nic’s Maggie’s East Coast Turkey, baked to perfection with all trimmings: stuffing, buttered corn, cranberry, and gravy. The same goes for Chicken Relleno, deboned and stuffed with ground meat, spices, and quezo de bola. Both roasts are ordered year-round, especially during the holiday season kicking off with Thanksgiving.
The dessert come-ons are Nic’s Double Fudge, Lemon, and Oatmeal Fudge Bars—a good mix of sweet and tangy treats. An addition is the Lemon Cheesecake, now a favorite.
