DOG-FRIENDLY CARROT CAKE

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking soda
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup muscovado sugar
  • 3 whole eggs
  • 2 cups grated carrots
  • 1/2 cup crushed pineapples
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt

Cream cheese frosting

  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup honey

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350F.
  • In a bowl, stir together all the ingredients for the dog-friendly carrot cake until very smooth.
  • Transfer onto preferred baking pans. Bake until the top exterior of the cake is almost dry to the touch.

Cream cheese frosting

  • Blend together until smooth. Add food coloring if desired.
  • Spread on top of the cake.
